Glo Sews Life

This was such  a joyous project and so much fun!  I love the Kwik Sew pattern #3901 and it all went together like a breeze! I really love the fabric and the colors.   I think the colors really compliment each other. This was the first time I have ever made little bloomers.  They look so cute, even unfinished! But finished they are even cuter!  I love the skirt effect!  This pattern does have some ruffles,  but using a zig zag stitch over a piece of yarn to make your gathers is much easier then doing the two rows of stitching.  If you have never tried the zig zag over yarn trick, try it next time you do gathers.  I love it, gathers don't even worry me any more!  (I hope to one day have a ruffling foot, that would even be better!) I am getting so excited about the new grandbaby that is coming in June!  She is going to be such a wonderful addition to our family and a long awaited extension of  my son!  I can't wait to see her beautiful little face! I can't wait to get started on it!  It is sized from 0-3 months all the way up to 18 months and all sizes are encluded!  I think that is a great bargain!  I can just see little Harper wearing it now!  Well, guess I better pick out some fabric first, but I will have it ready and waiting on...
