Three Birthdays, One Boy Or Girl Party and One Graduation; Whew! What A Week

This box holds a special surprise!

What a week! I had two "first" this week and at my age that is not an easy thing to do!   LOL

On Monday my youngest grand daughter (not counting the one not born yet!) had her second birthday!  Yay!  Happy Birthday Riley!  We love you!

On Tuesday,  our grand daughter that lives in North Carolina turned 17.  It is hard when you do not live close to your family, seems we always miss all the special occasions in their lives.  Happy Birthday Corrie, we love and miss you very much!

On Wednesday, my daughter-in-law celebrated her birthday, and to save myself from much wrath I will leave her age undisclosed! LOL Happy Birthday Christa, what joy you have brought to all of our family!

Now for the first "first" for me! On Friday we attended a Reveal The Sex of The Baby Party, what great fun that was! It is going to be our first Great Grand Child! My husbands oldest grand daughter is due in September.

I have to admit that Sheila had some wonderful ideas and executed them very well!  When we first arrived at the party we were given a chance to guess boy or girl, and given the fact that the Bobster has two daughters, and each of them have two daughters, I had to vote for a boy.

After everyone arrived and had been given the chance to vote for their choice the big news was revealed!

IT"S A GIRL!!
Up Up and Away!

What great fun, and everyone was so happy (even those of us that had chosen boy). Now, come on September!

New Parents to be
"Kenzie" will be here in September
Congratulations Sheila and Mikey!  You are going to be terrific parents!

On Saturday, the second "first" for me happened, my oldest grandchild, my grandson Taylor, graduated from High School!  What pride I felt as I watched him walk across the stage and accept that diploma! His future is full of wonderful possibilities and his life has just begun! ( Bobby has had grand children graduate, but this was my first one)

My grandson Taylor and my daughter Jin

Congratulations Taylor!  No matter how old you get, you will always be Nana's Tatorbug!  Love you Tatorbug!

It has been a very busy week, but a very wonder filled week.   So many wonderful things yet to come in my life, come September I will be able to add another "first" to the list, my first great grandchild!

Seems strange that I am going to have a grand-daughter born in June and a great grand-daughter born in September!   My life is filled with blessings!

Happy Sewing!
